Interior (Re)Design is a facet of interior decorating that transforms a room using what you already own, in just one day! Your entire room is completely emptied of furniture and accessories, and then (Re)Designed using the possessions you treasure from that room or other rooms in your home. We do not impose our sense of style, but rather use the principles of Interior design and what we have learned about your tastes and interests to create a beautiful space that works for your family. The most common response from homeowners, (upon their return) is WOW, HOW BEAUTIFUL AND INVITING!
Interior (Re)Design is a new concept in interior decorating, transforming your home using only your existing furnishings. All of the ingredients for a beautiful, inviting, and functional room are already in your home; we specialize in arranging them to create a space you will love. In just one day you see an amazing result.
(Re)Design begins with the initial consultation, where we learn about you and your family and how you use or would like to use your rooms. Are there things that are not working for you and your likes and dislikes? We will talk about style - formal or casual, sleek or whimsical - maybe it is a little of everything. We will also tour the rest of your home, there may be items lurking in the corners of other rooms that would be perfect additions to the (Re)Designed space. You may want to take a look at investing in new items that would enhance your space, like pictures, area rug or corner lamp for example. The initial consultation generally takes 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
On the scheduled (Re)Design day, you will have the day off! Enjoy your day away from home while we get to work! The room is completely emptied of all furniture, accessories and artwork and then the (Re)Design begins. A typical redesign can be completed in three or four hours and by the time you get home in the afternoon, it is completed. Our favorite parts of the day... the client’s reaction to their new room(s)!
